Burish not dealt a lengthy league-imposed benching (The Beacon News)
In brief: Blackhawks winger Adam Burish avoided what some in the organization thought might be a 10-game suspension. Burish admitted to leaving the bench Monday to protect a threatened teammate with 3:21 remaining in the Hawks’ 6-2 victory over Colorado at the United Center.
